Open an ender chest and the panel shows three figures: what is in the chest, what is on you, and the two together. The last line is what the whole lot could be at most — and until this morning that line was smaller than the figure above it.

  • FIXED“At most” now covers the chest and your pack, not just the chestA ceiling below its own floor is not a weak bound. It is a wrong one.

The two floors were added together and the ceiling was not, so “at most” carried the chest’s own ceiling while the figure above it already counted both. The arithmetic was never wrong; a number was being added into one end of a range and not the other. Two stores are now read as one thing, and both ends move together.

It was found in a screenshot, not by a test — which is why the test that now guards it pins the property rather than the numbers: whatever is added into the floor is added into the ceiling.
